Caydee trotted along the worn dirt (more like mud) path. Most of this winter's snow had melted. To Caydee it was like her memories of winter melting away. Not to long ago she was abused by a stallion who wanted revenge on her dam. He left deep cuts on her black overo coat. She narrowly escaped his trap.
